Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult Comic-Con Reunion: X-Men Costars

Reunited and it feels so good! Jennifer Lawrence and boyfriend Nicholas Hoult were all smiles as they fielded questions at the Comic-Con press conference for upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past on Saturday, July 20.

The costars — and recently reunited lovers — got close as they spoke to fans about their roles in the Marvel series, just two days after Us Weekly exclusively reported the on-again, off-again couple (who split in January after two years together) was most definitely on-again.

“They started the shoot in April as friends, and then one day they just started kissing,” a source told Us. “One thing led to another and they hooked up. All her old feelings came rushing back. Now they’re fully back on.”

At the press conference Saturday, Lawrence, 22, wore a figure-hugging white Alexander McQueen dress, while Hoult, 23, kept his look more casual in a grey sweatshirt and dark jeans.

The pair previously broke up in January after distance (she’s based in L.A., he’s based in the UK) got the best of their relationship and they agreed to split amicably.

Despite pulling the plug on their relationship, however, the costars remained friends and even hung out together on occasion.

Opening up to Elle magazine about their relationship last December, prior to their split, Lawrence described Hoult as her “best friend.”

“He is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I’m his best friend too,” she told the magazine. “He’s my favorite person to be around and he makes me laugh harder than anybody.”

“We can eat Cheetos and watch beach volleyball and we turn into perverted Homer Simpsons, like, ‘Oh, she’s got a nice ass,'” she continued. “I never thought we’d have such different opinions on asses.”
