Jessica Alba Looks Hot in Bikini on Maxim Cover: "Not Apologizing"

No apologies—and we can see why! Jessica Alba not only stripped down to a skimpy bikini for Maxim‘s September 2014 issue, but also spoke candidly about the acting industry.

The Sin City: A Dame to Kill For actress, 33, looked stunning (and super svelte!) on the cover in an olive green swimsuit and a wet white T-shirt. Inside the mag, however, she explained how looks pale in comparison to her self-worth. “If you put your whole identity behind this business, it’s brutal,” she told the mag. “It chews you up and spits you out; it spits out a lot of people.”

Alba reflected on how her journey in Hollywood was “so personal,” adding that she didn’t want to discuss it in detail. “But I definitely feel like I tackled something and came out the other side,” Cash Warren‘s wife explained. “Everything that led up to all this was worth it. I’m really comfortable in my own skin, and I’m not apologizing for myself.”

These days, the mother of two daughters (Haven and Honor), has been focusing her attention on The Honest Company, an affordable, eco-friendly baby product company which she co-founded in 2011. She’s also anticipating the release of her new movie. At an event in May, the gorgeous working mom told Us: “I have Sin City coming out so I’ll be doing lots of press I’m sure. We also have weekend family BBQs at home.”

“It’s more about overall health for me, now,” Alba told Us as part of the 2014 Hot Bodies Issue, adding: “I’m kind of crazy about Hot Power Sculpt Yoga right now.”

She mused: “After I turned 30, I felt like I had turned a corner. I definitely started to feel more connected to myself and my body and all of that as a person after I became a mom… I really feel the best now that I ever have, and I feel like it gets better and better every year.”
