No longer live from New York! Saturday Night Live has catapulted the careers of many of today’s most popular comedians, including Will Ferrell, Eddie Murphy, Tina Fey and Adam Sandler. In fact, the NBC sketch comedy series has become a launching pad for hit talk shows, films, sitcoms and game shows since its 1975 premiere. Murphy, for his part, appeared as a cast member from 1980 to 1984. He went on to become a lucrative movie star, but tension between him and the show arose after David Spade joked about the Coming to America actor’s career in a 1995 sketch.

A candid response. While discussing her love life, Savannah Chrisley weighed in on rumors that she is dating Matt Stell. During an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Highway late last month, Chrisley, 25, was asked about her connection with the country singer, 38, after starring in his 2018 “Prayed For You” music video. “No [we didn’t date]. [I was still] very engaged,” the reality star said, referring to her ex-fiancé, Nic Kerdiles, according to E!

Being strong for mom. Savannah Chrisley shared an update on how her mom, Julie Chrisley, is coping with her new life in prison. “She sent me home 30 to 40 days’ worth of letters … it was like her daily diary basically,” the Chrisley Knows Best alum, 25, said on the Monday, May 1, episode of her “Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley” podcast, noting she was eventually going to read them aloud at a later date.

Savannah Chrisley and her boyfriend, Blaire Hanks, have split after two years of dating. The Chrisley Knows Best star tearfully announced the news in a Facebook video on Wednesday, January 25. Sawyer Sweeten, who was just a year old when he and his twin brother joined the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, died from a suspected suicide at age 19 on Thursday, April 23. The former child actor’s castmates, including series lead Ray Romano and his onscreen wife Patricia Heaton, released statements mourning the death of Sweeten. Romano grieved the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of his onscreen son. “I’m shocked, and terribly saddened, by the news about Sawyer,” Romano told Us Weekly in his statement.

At the Thursday, November 30, soirée in New York City, the couple — who tied the knot in October 2020 — graced the red carpet in complimentary white and black ensembles.  Johansson, 39, looked lively in a winter white floor-length coat, which she wore atop a black slip dress that was equipped with a bustier bodice.

Bigger, better bling? Nearly three years after removing her wedding ring from Ryan Reynolds, Scarlett Johansson is sporting a new rock on her finger. A rep for the 28-year-old actress confirmed to Us Weekly on Wednesday, Sept. 4 that she is engaged to boyfriend Romain Dauriac. “I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged,” the rep said in a statement. “They haven’t chosen a date for the wedding.” Johansson debuted her new engagement ring while walking the red carpet at the 2013 Venice International Film Festival on Sept.

Holy carats! Scarlett Johansson’s husband Romain Dauriac didn’t hold back when it came to the star’s engagement ring and wedding band. Johansson, 30, who secretly wed Dauriac this past October, showed off her bling while leaving Beverly Hills eatery Matsuhisa on Sunday, Dec. 28. As previously reported by Us, the couple secretly said “I do” this past October in a private ceremony officiated by Richard J. Miller at the Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Mont.
